1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Graphics Universal, Incorporated (“Graphics Universal,” “GUI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit graphicsuniversal.com (the “Site”), request a quote, place an order, upload files, contact us, apply for a job, or otherwise interact with us (collectively, the “Services”).
Graphics Universal is a commercial printing, custom label, wide-format display, direct mail, and fulfillment company based in Greencastle, Pennsylvania, serving primarily business and organizational customers.
By using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Site.
2. Scope
This Policy applies to information we collect through the Site and through our business interactions with customers and prospective customers. It does not apply to:
- Third-party websites or services we link to but do not control (see Section 11).
- The information practices of our customers, including any personal information contained in files or mailing lists that customers provide to us for printing or fulfillment, for which the customer is the responsible party.
- Information collected offline except where this Policy expressly says otherwise.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information you provide to us
We collect information you choose to give us, including when you:
- Request a quote or submit an order form (including the Request for Quote, water bottle label order form, and similar forms): your name, company, email address, telephone number, project details, and any other information you include.
- Contact us by web form, email, or telephone: your name, contact details, and the contents of your message.
- Upload files through our file-transfer/FTP page: the files you submit for printing or production, together with any personal information those files may contain (for example, names and addresses in a mailing list). You are responsible for the contents of files you upload (see our Terms of Service).
- Apply for a job through our Careers page: the information in your application, resume, and related correspondence.
- Make a payment: payment is handled by our third-party payment processor (accessible via pay.iqpro.com). We do not collect or store full payment card numbers on the Site; the processor handles card data under its own terms and security standards. We may receive limited transaction confirmation details such as the amount, date, and a masked card reference.
3.2 Information we collect automatically
When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically through your browser and, subject to your consent for non-essential technologies, through analytics tools:
- Server and log data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring/exit pages, date and time stamps, and similar diagnostic data. Basic server logs are necessary to operate and secure the Site.
- Device and usage data: pages viewed, links clicked, approximate location derived from IP address, screen size, and similar metadata, collected through analytics only after you consent.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 6.
3.3 Information from third parties
We may receive information from service providers that help us operate our business (for example, our hosting provider, email provider, or payment processor) and, where applicable, from business partners or publicly available sources used for marketing to businesses.
4. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to quote requests, inquiries, and customer-service messages.
- Prepare estimates, process and fulfill orders, and provide printing, label, display, direct-mail, and fulfillment Services.
- Process payments through our payment processor.
- Manage customer accounts and our relationship with you.
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site.
- Understand how visitors use the Site (analytics), where you have consented.
- Send administrative communications and, where permitted, business-to-business marketing about our Services. You may opt out of marketing at any time.
- Evaluate job applications.
- Comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect our rights, property, and safety and those of others.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose information only as follows:
- Service providers / processors who perform services on our behalf and are permitted to use the information only for that purpose, including:
– Website hosting and infrastructure providers.
– Google LLC for website analytics (Google Analytics) — see Section 7.
– Hotjar Ltd. for product analytics and session insights — see Section 7.
– Our payment processor for processing payments.
– Email, customer-relationship, and production/fulfillment providers used to deliver the Services.
- Professional advisors such as lawyers, accountants, and auditors, where reasonably necessary.
- Legal and safety disclosures: when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Graphics Universal, our customers, or others, or to investigate fraud or security issues.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
We require our service providers to protect the information they handle on our behalf.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies include pixels, tags, local storage, and software development kits (“SDKs”).
We use two categories:
- Strictly necessary technologies that are required for the Site to function and to keep it secure. These may operate without consent because the Site cannot work properly without them.
- Analytics / non-essential technologies (such as Google Analytics and Hotjar) that help us understand how the Site is used. These do not load until you provide consent through our cookie banner.
Managing your choices. When you first visit the Site, our consent banner lets you accept or decline non-essential technologies. You can change your choice at any time using the privacy/cookie settings control on the Site. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, although disabling strictly necessary cookies may impair Site functionality.
Global Privacy Control (GPC) / “Do Not Track.” Where required by applicable law, we treat a recognized opt-out preference signal (such as Global Privacy Control) sent by your browser as a valid request to opt out of non-essential tracking for that browser.
7. Analytics
Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC, to understand Site traffic and usage in aggregate. Google Analytics is configured so that it loads only after you consent. Our configuration does not retain a visitor’s full IP address for long-term storage; however, an IP address is transmitted as part of the standard operation of the service. Google processes this data under its own terms. You can learn more at Google’s privacy and terms pages, and you may install Google’s browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics across sites.
Hotjar. We use Hotjar, provided by Hotjar Ltd., to understand how visitors interact with the Site (for example, aggregated heatmaps and, where enabled, session insights based on mouse movement, clicks, and scrolling). Hotjar loads only after you consent. We do not use Hotjar to intentionally capture sensitive information you type into forms, and form-field masking is enabled where available. You can opt out of Hotjar using the “Do Not Track” mechanism Hotjar honors and through our consent controls.
8. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Services, maintain business and accounting records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. Customer order files and related records are retained according to our internal retention schedule and any agreement with the customer. Analytics data is retained for the period configured in the relevant analytics tool. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping any account credentials confidential.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

You may contact us to:

- Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to exceptions.

You may submit a request using the contact details in Section 14. We will verify your request before responding. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf with proper authorization. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as opt-out requests where required.

11. Third-Party Links and Embedded Content
The Site contains links to and embedded content from third parties, including our social media pages (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram), embedded Google Maps, and our third-party payment page. These third parties have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to review their policies before providing information to them.
12. Children’s Privacy
The Site and Services are intended for businesses and adults and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable).
